POST 311.

Fridays.

We were voting for house captains today so, I was pretty excited to miss first period which was the boring, insignificant humanities class. On top of that, we could wear "house colours" if we paid $10 for charity, apparently it's to raise funds for the typhoon in Philippines. Well, works for me. Notice house colours with inverted commas, simply meaning wear a piece of green clothing and you're fine to wear whatever casual clothes, whether be it jeans or whatever.

So I spent 1 hour the night before picking out my clothes - green is so, hard to match I swear. And then I woke up 15 minutes earlier the next morning and spent another, 30 minutes picking out a new top because the one I picked out the night before was too small. Then I was thinking of footwear. Slippers or shoes. Well, if I wore slippers, the annoying thing was I'd have to bring shoes for gym class. So I finally decided on this green transparent tank top over a white long tank top and black skinnies. Oh and green sneakers, which are pretty worn out I must say.

I brought a short tie jacket just for later on when house meeting is over. I'd take off the green top ( it is honestly, quite bright and distracting. ) and put the green jacket over. Taadaa, a piece of green. on me.

Then we come to gym class.

We were doing a game similar to volleyball but not exactly Volleyball. Spikes or any form of attack ( hitting the ball towards the ground ) was not allowed. We could bounce the ball in the front court and then hit it over and, if our serve was to the front court, someone could help pass it over the net and the list goes on. What, made me probably eh, less worried was that spikes were not allowed. Thank, god. Before gym class I was already starting to worry about dodging the balls, seems like I could worry, less.

So then the game started and we took our spots on the court. ( It was 12 versus 12 by the way. ) Well, all the athletic peeps were on my side so I pretty much wasn't that worried. And of course, I took the usual most likely to notice me spot - the back corner, far from the teacher's view and of course then, I'd most likely be, non existent. Which would be fantastic.

Then about 10 minutes into the game, things started to get more physical. D: I just stood there, counting down the time till gym class was over and time seemed to pass slow alright. Whenever the ball flew into my direction, I realised Vivien and I would be avoiding the ball, instead of going ahead to hit it, which was what we're supposed to do. Poor Yaso, she had to stay in front of us, doing both our "jobs". I did feel bad, but hey can't help it. I refuse to be struck on the head by a freaking volleyball. Or worse, face.

So it's been probably, ages until gym class was finally over. I guess I spent that whole hour running around trying to avoid service and the ball, in the game. Well, at least I returned to the changing room, completely unharmed. *pause* Not exactly, my mind, was driving me nuts. Everytime the ball flew in my direction, my heart would be going faster and me myself would be telling myself, "Ball. Run. Move. Let someone hit it."

Anyway, thank god that's over. Sad thing is there's another, session on Monday. What I could hope for at the most, we're still doing that, that whatever it's called, instead of Volleyball. I'm actually looking forward to next week though and I think I'm actually going to have a happy weekend this week since there's not much work. Or rather, no work that's due on monday :D

And yes, after next week I have a 1 week break. Plus, Monster Carnival 2 has been released in Maplestory so I should be able to make my 3rd job next week. Okay I think that made me sound like a total, geekish computer nerd, which is not the case.
